Immigration is an important part of my family history. My father's French Huguenot ancestors fled religious persecution in the 17th c. by immigrating to Germany. My immediate family---parents, sister, brother and myself----immigrated to the US from Germany in 1964. We still have strong connections to our relatives in Germany.
